The Anniversary

So I mentioned an anniversary in my last post. The scoop is that last Friday (April 22) was my 10th wedding anniversary. I know it's impossible to believe that somebody could put up with me for ten years (and trust me there has been a lot to put up with), but Jennifer somehow mustered up the strength and courage to pull it off. Two goldfish, one dog, a huge mortgage, and 2.5 kids later, here we are full-fledged adults. I don't deserve her but I sure am happy that God put her in my life. Here's to loving each other wholly and perfectly!

I had promised myself ten years ago that I'd buy her a NICE saphire or ruby eternity ring for her 10th anniversary. Thanks to a gigantic tax refund I was able to pull it off. She is actually getting three stackable rings. I couldn't find the exact picture but two of the bands look like this. Just picture saphires for every other stone and that's what it looks like. Being married to me might suck, but at least I buy nice presents.

And to close...
How is it that diamonds are a girl's best friend, but dogs are a man's best friend? Guys, we got the shaft on this one. I move that we change the saying to plasma screen televisions with home theater systems are a man's best friend.
