The intent of this site is not to directly explain what the Doppler Effect is--you can look that up in an encyclopedia--but instead to have you provide your own explanation of the Doppler Effect as a result of interacting with a series of digital movies, Flash movies, Shockwave movies, Java applets, sound files, and images.

There are "forward" and "back" buttons at the top of each page to help you navigate through the site. You can also jump straight to paticular sections of the site by using the Navigation Bar at the top of the page.
